An unequal couple, an unconventional stack, a „liaison à trois“. Two very different shapes of a can, found in the drawings of the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna’s Workshop). Each of them is placed with the top down in a metal frame: an organic cloud and a straight-lined cone define the middle corpus of the side tables in two different heights. On top of them rests a glass plate, which appears to be floating on the stacked ensemble: a side table as a stack of three components.

Ein ungleiches Paar, ein ungewohnter Stapel – eine Liaison à trois. Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Dosenformen, gefunden in den Zeichnungen der Wiener Werkstätte werden jeweils auf dem Kopf in ein Kupfergestell gelegt, bzw. gestellt: Eine organische Wolke und ein gradliniger weißer Kegel bilden den mittleren Körper der Beistelltische in zwei unterschiedlichen Höhen. Auf ihnen liegt eine Glasplatte, die auf diesem gestapelten Ensemble zu schweben scheint: Ein Beistelltisch als Stapel aus drei verscheidenen Bauteilen.
