The body of the stacking chair Taino comprises two plywood shells, of five layers each, which are pressed together to contain the aluminium frame: the pressed wood sheet sandwiches around the chair legs, rather than the typical two-layered shell mounted on top of the legs.

Taino ist ein stapelbarer Stuhl, der aus zwei Sperrholzschichten besteht, welche im Herstellungsprozess um das Aluminiumgestell herum gepresst werden. Dadurch entsteht eine funktionale Einheit aus Gestell und Schale – anders als bei herkömmlichen Stühlen, bei denen die Schale auf das Gestell montiert wird.
